Topaz Orbit Compass
The Topaz Orbit Compass Pendant carries a lively, orbiting energy. At its centre glows a London Blue Topaz, engraved rays sparkling outward like light in motion. Set within a two-sided rotating design, the pendant can be turned over without removing it – an unusual detail that makes it as versatile as it is distinctive. Larger than many of my creations, it offered me a bigger canvas at the workbench – a joy to shape and bring to life.

London Blue Topaz
Framed in a silver setting with a boldly twisted rope edge, the London Blue Topaz brings depth and brilliance. Its engraved backdrop of brushed silver adds texture and personality, giving the gemstone a radiant presence. In folklore, topaz has long been associated with truth and clarity - qualities mirrored in the stone’s cool blue light, like a guiding spark on the journey ahead.
Two Sides, One Compass Pendant
Turn the pendant over and the detail continues: delicate engraving circles the working Francis Barker NATO survival compass, creating beauty on both faces. The rotating bail allows you to switch which side faces outward — without having to take it off.
Larger Design, Lasting Craft
Measuring 30 mm across with a total length of 44 mm, this is one of my larger compass creations. Inside lies a reliable Francis Barker compass, customised for daily wear and water safety. A distinctive piece in sterling silver, shown here on a luxury box chain (optional extra).
