Peridot Guiding Star Compass
Uniquely handmade silver compass pendant with peridot, often known as the evening emerald. Adorned with 18k gold and a working compass inside.
The Peridot Gemstone
Peridot is sometimes referred to as the evening emerald as it holds its beautiful glow of colour even in the evening light. It’s thought to emit a warm and friendly energy and to inspire happiness in the wearer. Peridot is the August birthstone.
Guiding Star for Life
The peridot in this compass creation is the centre of a star which forms the foundation of the design, its rays reaching out in all directions. A guiding star that’s always there, showing us the way. Enjoy a wander through all the photos to see what I’m talking about.
A mix of textures and finishes complete the piece, telling a story of unpredictable but adventurous terrain, spells of flowing calm and highlights of golden moments. A Guiding Star Pendant for real life! I’ve adorned the circumference of the pendant with stars and markings which reach all the way around to the other side, framing the working compass inside.
Working Compass Inside
Inside the pendant is a compass that really does work and is waterproof, too. It’s a Francis Barker survival compass and has been customised to make it one of the best working compasses out there. It won’t leak and you don’t need to take it off in the shower. For everything you need to know about this please check out the page telling you all about the compass inside.
Shown here on a Luxury Box Chain, this silver and 18k pendant is 22mm diameter. My aim is to keep my compass jewellery to a comfortable size to wear.
Chains are optional and available in different styles and lengths.
