Peacock designs appear on both sides of this silver and gold compass pendant.
Set into the back, there’s an antique coin from the mid 1800s illustrating a peacock.
With an extravagant design of swirls, droplets and 9 blue agates, the front depicts colourful tail feathers radiating out from the face of the compass, the peacock’s body. A real pleasure to create.
The Peacock has a variety symbolic meanings across the world and has often been associated with luck, guidance and protection. This is a piece to hold as well as wear, a creation to brush with your fingertips and savour the contours.
A larger compass creation than usual for me, this one is just over 32mm across and would probably be most suited to being worn on a longer chain – but the choice is yours! Shown here on a luxury box chain in silver.
