Inspired by the vineyards that surround us here in France, the design of this gemstone compass necklace has delicate tendrils of early vines reaching out in new directions. Elegant stems, swirling arabesques and tiny buds of fruit.

Uniquely handmade in silver and gold, the swirls surround lovely blue sapphires and a moonstone on the front, and a working compass on the back.

Sapphires and Moonstone

Sapphire is the September birthstone. When it comes to wedding anniversaries, it’s associated with the 5th, 23rd and 45th wedding anniversary. Folklore describes this mineral as one to help dispel unwanted thoughts and bring lightness, joy and peace of mind to the wearer.

Moonstone is the July birthstone. A transparent mineral with a blue schiller on the surface, moonstone is thought to have an energy that relates to new beginnings, a moving on. It’s also been used for protection against the perils of travel and a talisman of good fortune.
