The pendant’s swirls echo the ornamental railings that line balconies across French towns and cities - a detail I still pause to admire after over twenty years here. Translating those patterns into silver was a challenge I relished; the intricate build became a joy in itself. The swirls now frame the working Francis Barker compass at the centre: a reminder that wherever you travel, you carry a piece of France and your own direction with you.
